Hungry Jack’s wanted a tactical campaign to keep the Whopper in the news. Meanwhile the news was full of the upcoming election. Some light relief was needed.
The resulting TV, digital, social, press and poster campaign led to election day and the biggest single-day sales of Whoppers ever with an 87% increase in sales on the previous Saturday. The campaign videos got 1.5 million views with an average of 950 reactions and 139 shares per post. The campaign also made the news and on was talked about on high rating radio shows.
